Twitter Traffic Spikes for Health Care Announcement
Is there anyone not going to Twitter for the latest headlines? Twitter traffic spiked to 13,166 tweets per minute after the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on President Obama’s extended health care law. Not all of those tweets were accurate and some deleted tweets are now archived at Politiwoops. The spike didn't quite reach to the peak of 14,000 tweets per minute during the 2012 State of the Union or the 2012 Super Bowl which saw an impossibly active 12,223 tweets per second at one point.
