Blue Engine’s Kara Ferguson Named to PR News’ Rising Stars

12.05.17

We’re very fortunate that our staff is full of bright, driven and accomplished young professionals. We’re especially proud today because our own Kara Ferguson was recognized by PR News as one of their Rising PR Stars 30 & Under, an award given to “young professionals for their drive and outstanding work in communications.”

We are excited to have Kara included on this list, representing Blue Engine among a group of talented communicators. Kara has helped expand the range of services we provide to clients, particularly in graphic design and digital communications. She plays an important role on our team and we’re glad that PR News has recognized her talents. This is what PR News had to say about Kara’s work and why she won this award:

Kara Ferguson, communications specialist at Blue Engine Message & Media, began working at the company in 2013 and in the following four years she has established herself as a leader within the company.  Her ability to think ahead and her desire to always perform at her personal best has helped to establish her as a valued member of the Blue Engine Message & Media team.

Ferguson leads comprehensive social media campaigns, develops innovative websites and designs compelling visual content which allows Blue Engine’s clients to achieve each of their individual goals.

Ferguson thoroughly dedicates herself to her job, studying the history of communications and the many changes in the constantly evolving field. This past year Kara was critical in the development and growth of Blue Engine’s visual and graphic design capabilities, and pushed the company to offer clients in-house design amenities.

Ferguson served as graphic design lead for Blue Engine in 2016 and designed and produced graphic materials for digital, print, shareable videos, social media campaigns, print and digital advertisements, website development and branding projects.

Ferguson has done much for her firm in the short time she’s worked there and will continue to establish herself as a leader within the PR landscape as she continues to learn and grow.

We agree. Congratulations, Kara!
