Seven Letter is hiring an experienced communicator to create and execute strategic plans and assist with the management of multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate will consistently provide strategic and creative leadership to advance client goals, aggressively drive a workload of diverse project types across multiple sectors, effectively manage both up and down to get the best out of senior level and junior level colleagues, possess strong writing and project management skills, be able to maintain media relationships, and have experience integrating digital and social tactics into comprehensive communications campaigns. This candidate should have a strong understanding of the media, political and policy landscapes. Qualifications:
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in a communications role in an applicable environment: in-house, agency, political or advocacy campaign, or local, state or federal government;
- Excellent ability to develop and edit high-quality written materials, including: press materials, fact sheets, talking points, statements, strategic memos, PowerPoint presentations and opinion editorials.
- Experience leveraging social and digital platforms and strategies to reach, amplify and engage target audiences;
- Experience managing junior staff and coordinating with multiple client and consultant contacts; and
- Familiarity with legislative and regulatory process, as well as advocacy campaigns to impact legislative or regulatory outcomes.
