Hans Nichols, an international economics correspondent with Bloomberg, will be joining NBC News, the network announced. Nichols will return to Washington following a stint in Germany and will eventually succeed Jim Miklaszewski, NBC’s long-time Pentagon correspondent, who will be retiring in December. The two will work as colleagues for NBC News for the next six months until Mr. Miklaszewski’s retirement. Nichols previously covered the White House and the 2008 McCain presidential campaign before covering the international economy for Bloomberg.
