The Washington Post promoted two long-time reporters this week. The Post named Scott Wilson their new deputy national editor and Anne Kornblut as an associate editor on the national staff. Scott has served as interim deputy since last summer and helped cover the ongoing news in Ferguson, MO, among other big stories. He worked previously as a foreign correspondent and has won awards for his work covering the Obama White House. Anne will make her return to the national staff after spending a year in Palo Alto finishing her Knight fellowship. Upon her return, she will organize the Post’s presence at the 2016 presidential conventions and take a lead in executing the Post’s debate strategy. She has more than 15 years of experience covering presidential campaigns.
