She provides creative leadership to advance client goals and drives a workload of diverse project types across multiple sectors. She also maintains media relationships and assists in the integration of digital and social tactics into comprehensive communications campaigns.

Kelcey began her career as a reporter for the Denver Business Journal after studying journalism, political science, and history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her time as a reporter, she covered commercial real estate and tracked major developments and growth in the Denver metropolitan region. She also appeared on radio and TV to discuss some of her work in greater depth. Later, she transitioned into freelance reporting and copywriting.

Prior to Seven Letter, she worked for the United States Global Leadership Coalition, a nonprofit advocating for a strong International Affairs Budget, where she planned and executed events with Members of Congress, Cabinet Officials, high-level agency staff, and other influential stakeholders in the DC foreign policy community. These events engaged the private and public sectors on international aid issues. Kelcey also worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (REAP).

Outside of Seven Letter, Kelcey coaches fitness classes at Solidcore, volunteers at the Humane Rescue Alliance, and spends a considerable amount of time with her dog, Finn. Though she calls Washington, D.C. home, she is originally from New England and will happily point you in the direction of her favorite lobster roll.
